Our travel guide told us that the second day is going to be very amazing as we were to take a shikara ride in the lake. We woke up to a hearty breakfast and then completed all our check out formalities. Then we headed to the Dal lake with our guide where we got to witness the real beauty of Srinagar taking the Shikara ride. Then we were taken to the local markets where we got to see some of the popular paper mache works, Kashmiri handicraft, walnut wood carvings, traditional Dongra jewellery and much more. At the end of the day, we returned back to our new home, a houseboat. The accommodation in the houseboat was just good and the overnight stay was just peaceful and comfortable. The day three happened to be the last day at Srinagar and it was time to head back to our very own place. We got up bit early in the morning to capture the brilliant views of nature and the surrounding hills. We were served breakfast at the houseboat and then we began packing our bags not only with clothes but also with memories that would stay with us all through this life. The agents helped us with another super smooth check out process and also dropped us at the railway station from where we boarded our train.
