Twitter is adding a feature to its Spaces live audio room that will enable hosts to sell tickets for their events. The service will be available worddocx to select users in the US, as Twitter continues to introduce more ways to monetize the app.
Ticketed Spaces allows creators to charge their audience for live experiences that range from $1 to $999, with the option for them to set a cap on how many tickets will be sold – helping keep events intimate and personal.
Hosts can receive up to 97% of their hdxwallpaper revenue after Apple and Google fees have been deducted. Earnings will be deposited into a creator’s account 45 days after the live event has concluded.
Though Ticketed Spaces is currently in beta testing, it offers an excellent opportunity to monetize your Spaces. With the service, you telesup can set a price for tickets and Twitter will send notifications when the Space is starting and when attendees can purchase their tickets.
At present, Ticketed Spaces is only available on iOS; however, Twitter plans to expand it soon to Android broadcasters as well. As part of its revenue share with creators from Ticketed Spaces, Twitter takes a 3% commission which happn may decrease as usage grows and more creators take advantage of the service; however, exactly how much of that revenue will be returned to creators remains uncertain.
